Dr. Zhang joined the Carolinas Dermatology in 2002 after finishing his fellowship training in dermatopathology. His areas of special interest include rash/dermatitis, melanoma and other skin cancers.
Dr. Zhang graduated from Hunan School of Medicine, one of the two oldest medical Schools in China founded by missionaries from the United States in the beginning of the last century. After medical school, he attended Mount School of Medicine In New York to pursue a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology. Dr. Zhang continued his residency training in clinical and anatomical pathology, and fellowship training in dermatopathology both at Tulane School of Medicine.
